Based on experience i will tell you that the moment you raise your voice and use the all too familiar hindi bad words, you will find some autowallah willing to ferry you , probably coz he has not earned his day's ration yet.

With the introduction of private taxi service like meru cab, the traditional taxi drivers are showing some signs of improvement on account of the competition.
Hopefully things will come back to normal and if they don't .......
i don't want to imagine that situationGauravhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18034684735356851986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117594624754374742.post-21805752906953017472008-09-09T14:22:00.000+05:302008-09-09T14:22:00.000+05:30fantastic work nishat. very good one. I liked your presentation and pretty much understood your ire. can say only one thing, the high standards of living is what made people in bangalore to behave indifferntly. I have seen some lazy butts puffing off money for half a kilometer ride as well to the autowallahs. incidents like these have changed the mindset of these vendors, who believe that the people living in silicon valley of India are pretty rich and for them spending that extra buck is not at all a big deal. you should see these spoilt rich brats calling for the auto wallas at brigade raod or at the central or at garuda mall, they dont mind how much the auto walla is aksing for, neither do they are intersted in bargaining.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117594624754374742.post-89167754666304817542008-09-09T10:08:00.000+05:302008-09-09T10:08:00.000+05:30just bcoz tujhe ek bura exp aaya iska matlab ye na...just bcoz tujhe ek bura exp aaya iska matlab ye nahi na ke sab jan bure ho gaye....................https://www.blogger.com/profile/04226791519727208800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117594624754374742.post-3369118997905848922008-09-09T10:05:00.000+05:302008-09-09T10:05:00.000+05:30Hmm re,,,, I remember when I was in blore… there w...Hmm re,,,, I remember when I was in blore… there were exceptions.. like how an auto walla had taken me to the airport when I had less than one hour to go… n on top of that so much traffic on the roads… he did not charge anything extra too…. It was just the meter charge… that too only 80 rs.. I was shocked because that day I realized that how I was fooled each time before that when I was charged not more than 150 rs.. and once even 230 rs. For the same one-way trip.. L

And yeah .. Bombay..like u I was also very disappointed with my last experience with an auto wala… no one was ready to drop me home from kurla terminus.. the minimum fare which was being told was 150 rs… when it just takes maximum of 30 to 35 rs. to my place.. LL

It really made me think.. whether I have actually got down in Bombay or somewhere in blore LL

From that day onwards I can never take bombay’s example for such matters…Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16905083309461597997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117594624754374742.post-73188708913740148152008-09-08T21:38:00.000+05:302008-09-08T21:38:00.000+05:30I agree with you to the hilt..But there are always...I agree with you to the hilt..
But there are always exceptions..

Very much like rasleen, I too came across good auto-wallas both in Bangalore as well as Pune..

Since I don't know my way around in Pune, the guy explained to me how to get from Swargate to Kothrud in the shortest of time and way, and which way would cost my wallet less..!!

And in Blr, once me n my frnd had to get to Majestic, the bus-stand and it was raining like hell that day, with traffic that wasn't even crawling.. this good auto-walla took us thru some gallis of Bangalore, that may be unknown to even the hard-core Bangalorites.. and dropped us till Majestic..Mayurihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16305472586306037437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9117594624754374742.post-72825087515157251132008-09-08T21:18:00.000+05:302008-09-08T21:18:00.000+05:30I think that conversation in ur head came true.
